I detest the game these are styled after but my kids enjoy it. This set was for the younger ones to play with but the older kids and even my husband can be found fiddling with it. It does not have enough pieces to build the full structure shown on the cover but that's ok. They fit well with some of the other brands that look similar to this that we've tried. It's pricey and I think it would be more appropriate to the 30-40 range.

I got these magnetic blocks for my daughter and she spends hours building all sorts of cool stuff, from castles and robots to spaceships and dinosaurs, these blocks are seriously well made. They're sturdy and the magnets are super strong, so her creations don't fall apart easily, they're also perfect for little hands and the rounded edges make them safe for even the youngest toddlers. I love that these blocks are more than just a toy, they help my daughter develop her creativity, problem solving skills, and fine motor skills. She gets so focused and engrossed in her building projects, it's amazing to watch her imagination come to life. These are also super portable, We take them with us everywhere and she always has a blast building with them wherever we go. They're also easy to clean up, which is a major plus for any parent!!!

All of my kids in multiple age groups have enjoyed building with these blocks but my 5 year old son had enjoyed them the most! He will play with them for an hour or longer sometimes and his imagination just runs wild which has been quite entertaining for all of us. They are very lightweight and the magnets work fairly well. It’s not a strong magnetic hold to where it will keep them together if knocked over, but it’s strong enough to allow for them to be built and stay in one place. They will fall if moved but the fun is rebuilding, right!?

My 6 year old loves them, good quality for the price.

We JUST got these for use at our library. They look super nice, and kids who play Minecraft are sure to enjoy this "offline" version of the game. I'm taking away one star though, because as nice as they are, the project shown on the box cover has WAY more blocks than are included in the set. I think you'd need three or four sets to make that picture. There are only 18 grass in the set, for example. Still, it comes with a really nice user guide that shows several smaller projects. If these hold up well enough, I'm sure we'll be picking up more sets as they go on sale.
