I just got in this pillow...and aside from it looking a bit strange, like some odd starfish style pillow! It is super comfortable. I went into this, by chance, with a stiff neck. I was a bit worried that the pillow would make things worse but when I woke up this morning - neck pain was gone! Will say, when you get it, you will have to leave it "expanding" for a few hours until it get's to it's full size - it comes squashed flat and when you take it out - you're like...WTH?! This is a great pillow - definitely recommend this one!!

Play Video I'm a back sleeper, and used to have multiple pillows, the top of which I would punch into a bowl shape for the back of my head. Often my head would "fall off" the pillows, but this one has big enough wings to help keep my neck & head cradled in place till morning. I think the memory foam also helps with maintaining positioning...your head sinks into it. I do have a regular pillow on top of the Hansleep pillow (in a T shape) to slightly elevate my upper body, which helps keep my nasal passages clearer. I'm 100% happy with this pillow, so it's an easy 5 stars. Would recommend.

The pillow comes wrapped in a plastic cover and is compressed to save space. Kind of like those mattresses that come in a box. It take a couple of hours to fully expand. The fabric is soft and appears to be strong. The pillow is firm but the foam inside conforms to your head. There is a zipper on the bottom of the pillow that allows you to remove a thin piece of foam to make the pillow lower.

When I first opened this pillow, I had to laugh at the pathetic-looking pillow. There were no instructions telling me to let it decompress. I set it aside and came back a few hours later to find a lovely full-sized pillow! The best part was there was no chemical odor, which I often find in these kinds of pillows. I didn't realize there were different heights until I came back to write the review. I slept very well and woke up with no neck stiffness. It was comfortable on my back and on my side. Even though it has an odd shape, it still fit into my pillowcase.

When I meet someone who is having shoulder or neck issues, I always ask what kind of pillow they're using. If the answer is anything other than a foam cervical pillow, I suggest that they try one of these wonders without further delay. This Hansleep pillow gives you a LOT of bang for your (currently) twenty bucks: * Proper neck support for back, stomach, and side sleepers. * Foam inserts provided enable height adjustment. * Can be used with normal pillow cases. * Memory foam for comfort and durability. Really, the only thing I can gripe about is the lack of instructions (like those on this product page) enclosed in the package, relating to the height adjustment inserts and length of time until the pillow has properly "inflated" after being shipped in a vacuum package. Otherwise my reactions are all positive. So if you would like to banish neck and shoulder pains from your life, I encourage you to try this pillow. It may take a little getting used to if you have never tried a foam cervical pillow before, but you won't believe how much better you are sleeping -- and feeling. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, ESPECIALLY FOR THE MONEY!!!
