This is a fun magnetic block set. There are several different types of blocks, and the patterns and colors are great. The blocks are easy to stick together and build with, and they are a good size. They come in a nice box as well as a draw string bag for storage, which I like. The only down side is that there aren't really enough blocks to build very much. You really need twice or three times as many as it comes with to have enough to really build cool things with. But my son does really like it and enjoys playing with it.

These magnetic block sets are something I did not see as a child, but I think they are great for any child to have just like a wooden train set or a set of legos. Kids can make creative memories with a set like this or even better - with multiple sets combined - for many years. These blocks are easier to build with than legos. For older kids it's a little like playing real life minecraft but my 3 year old enjoys building with these too. These blocks are 1 inch X 1 inch which is preferred over smaller sizes for compatibility with other similar sets. One caution, if you look at the main image for this set or the image on the front of the box what you will see is a constructed set that requires many more blocks than the 100 that this set comes with. That does not take away from the quality of the set itself, but just understand that to get the same result you would have to order multiple sets which can get pricey. These blocks appear durable and I think they should look and function pretty much the same even after many years of use. The blocks stick together regardless of which side is facing which because the magnets inside the block will turn to whatever direction it needs to face to make a match. If you shake the block you can hear the movement. Good quality, easy to build with, attractive general-use wood, grass, brick, stone, water blocks can build endless different things. I expect that this will see many years of use and we may buy more as our child grows and wants to build bigger things!

Quality: Each brick doesn't look all that sturdy but once you get hands on you see they're of decent quality and probably won't start falling apart unless your kids puts them in the bath. I did step on one and it didn't come apart so that's good. They do make a bit of a rattling noise but I believe this is due to the design. I think inside there must be something that allows the magnet to move and thus connect on any side. I haven't tried busting one open to see what the internals are. Fun factor: When Im tired of my kids watching videos of the game or playing the game, this is a solid alternative that continues to encourage building. What I dont like: My biggest complaint and why I gave it a four is the quantity of bricks included isnt enough to build the thing on the box cover. A great example is lego, the things on box cover are something you can build. The instructions inside did show how to build something similar albeit smaller but just looking at the box, the base is approx 10x10, thats all the included blocks right there. There is a foldable instruction shown in the product description and that is more of what you should expect.

My kiddos are big fans of these blocks, to the point that I can barely put them away before they are back out again. We've had them for months and the novelty still hasn't worn off. They are a good size for small hands, and not overly magnetic, so easy to pull apart (but can be frustrating trying to build upwards). Those that love minecraft will love the design, and I love that they are very sturdy and inspire my kids to get creative. Overall, would recommend.
