What I love about these toys… they’re sturdy and well made, the magnets are strong, they hold together well, the kids love them, they encourage imagination and STEM thinking without screens. The printed Minecraft textures are great and so exciting for kids. I see them lasting and staying fun for a long time! What I don’t love… for the price, it’s not a ton of blocks. With just one set, you’re pretty limited in what you can do. We collected about four sets from birthday and Christmas and the options are now starting to open up. If you think your child will really love them it’s worth investing but make sure you factor in the understanding that you’ll need multiple sets for really good creative building.

I love these blocks so much that I ordered a second set of them with different colors/variations than the first set. They are the perfect size for building and aren’t too big or bulky. I would definitely not recommend these for any children that still stick things in their mouth, though, just because they’re small enough that they could potentially get stuck in their mouth. The images are printed on the blocks (not a sticker) which adds a much nicer quality to the item. They work well with other brands of magnetic block sets I’ve gotten in the past. There are no visible seams on the blocks, which eases any concerns I had over the blocks breaking open and spilling magnetic beads. They fit really well in a small 5x7 photo box that I keep in my child’s going out bag. They are a wonderful toy to keep kids occupied in the car or out at dinner instead of just sticking a tablet in front of them. They are great for imaginative play. I’ve seen some reviews where the other brands of magnetic blocks don’t come with enough to build the cool items featured on the boxes; however, this set came with a decent amount of blocks and I thought it was more than enough variations in colors/designs.

These are pricey, but my kid has really enjoyed these. They stick well together and they don't feel too cheap. This is great to use on a baking sheet and can even be a "Marble maze" if they don't want to build a minecraft world. I would say these are worth the price, cautiously. A great building toy option. Note that these are generic, not official minecraft toys. Also comes with a cheap storage bag.

Although each block set doesn't seem much as you get them, adding more and more sets over time offers so much play option! (one set really is not enough for decent play) For each birthday and Christmas I add to them. This is the 5th set my son has, each with a different theme, and even I like playing with them. The images are printed onto the blocks instead of just being stickers. The magnets are easy enough for a small child to pull apart but hardy enough to stick. I can see these lasting forever! I'm sure they can be passed down from child to child as they are that well made. They are pricey but offer hours of imagination and if you consider the cost of video games and the fact that these offer real life play, I think it's worth it. As new sets are added I will continue to get them. VERY HAPPY!

They are smaller than they look on line. My grandson liked playing with them but they are a beginners set.
