I'm going to be honest, I did not buy this for a baby, but more as cushion for a box I was shipping overseas for my partner. That said, it is very very soft and a baby would probably love it. My partner uses it as like, a little shoulder blanket and she loves it . It did succesfully protect the items in the box tho, so on the off change thats what youre looking for, good stuff. I will probably get my partner a another one in the future because she really does love it.
